The Crusaders
A team is sent to India to finance the largest hydropower project ever. Once there, they encounter fierce opposition from a local activist who defends the rights of dalits. And then the ghosts start to appear . . . the wealthiest man who ever lived (Mansa Musa, a king from 13th century Mali), a eunuch from a King’s court in the 17th century Jaipur, and even Cecil Rhodes. The Crusaders is a wild and comedic romp into capitalism, colonialism, and the choices we all make each day.

Four women finds themselves waiting, their husbands lost to the mines, political and economic exile, or just philandering. They meet over tea and imagine the most famous woman in waiting, Winnie Mandela until one day the strength of their enquiries beckon her and she walks in. A children’s play performed for school groups by the students at the Market Laboratory for school children. The story of a village where the rain has stopped because they don’t believe in magic, until the day the children stumble upon an old rain brining serpent (Inkanyamba) and bring her back to life.
